Hello. I’m looking for some help with the “start from” feature.
I am a photographer, as such, I have upcoming photo shoot appointments(months in advance), after which I would like to schedule the task of editing the photos. The editing, of course, can not begin until after the shoot.
I would like to use the “start from” feature so that the task appears in my calendar after the day of the shoot. I need to plan for that week with the appropriate tasks in mind. But when I use it now the tasks do not appear in the calendar.
Any advice to make this happen?

Hi @danfrose, they will appear on the calendar later when you get closer to the date. Here is a short video that explains this:
Hi @Seth. ok. I was hoping for a way to plan a bit farther ahead.
Most photo shoots are booked more than 21 days in advance, so I would like to be able to look at my calendar when someone makes a request and evaluate whether I have time that week… considering both appointments and deferred tasks.
Any suggestions for another method?3 months, 1 week ago SethParticipant
The current version of SkedPal schedules for the next 21 days only. But, this is something we are hoping to improve in the future.
Usually, snags and detours happen in the short term. That’s why we only schedule the next 21 days. Longer term plans are more stable and a static calendar like Google calendar will help too. But, this requires manual interventions like removing from Google calendar and adding it SkedPal when it falls in the 21-day horizon. I know it’s far from ideal and we hope to fix this in the future. Ok. Yeah I think that can work. Static events in iCalendar which I can choose to convert to Skedpal tasks.
